You can purchase Qantas Travel Insurance as part of the flight booking process, as a standalone product under the Book menu on the home page or after your booking is made, through Manage Your Booking.#
Qantas Frequent Flyer members, who are Residents of Australia, have sufficient Qantas Points to cover the cost of travel insurance, and are travelling within Australia or departing from Australia, have the option to use points instead of cash to obtain their Qantas Travel Insurance.^

A member must have sufficient points to cover the whole amount of points required to redeem for the travel insurance. A member is unable to use a mixture of points and cash to obtain travel insurance.
