Is there a cooling off period for Qantas Health Insurance?

A 30-day cooling off period applies to all our our health insurance products. If you’ve just joined Qantas Health Insurance and decide that you don’t want to continue with your health cover we’ll refund your full premium if you contact Qantas Insurance to cancel within 30 days of purchase (and don’t make any claims within that time). If you chose a Policy Start Date that is different to the date you made the purchase, the cooling off period of 30 days commences from your Policy Start Date.  If you have increased or decreased your level of Qantas Insurance health cover and change your mind, the cooling off period still applies and starts from the original purchase date. We can change your policy back to your original level of cover, providing you haven’t made a claim. Simply contact us before your 30 day period is up.
